Fun outdoor concerts

Ian George along with his gorgeous band The Knee Pockets (talented, ferocious young men) have one motive : ALLOW A GOOD TIME. The band delivers the sort of concert you'll likely dance, sway, sing, laugh and maybe even cry(!) to. Yesiredoo, a spontaneous and ferocious musical ride teeming with whimsicality, clever arrangements - interrupted by triumphant tangents - and outlandish solos grounded by George's gauzy voice and by the simple strength of a good song. Expect an engaging and dynamic string of gentle and not so gentle folk-rock adventures. Ian George website
Some say rock is dead, but fans of Matt Axton know that Mountain Soul - Rock & Roll is alive and kicking. With The Axton Musical Legacy as his guide, this West Coast-based singer/songwriter and band leader's music is a powerful mix of classic songwriter storytelling and guitar-driven roots-rock resulting in a unique, modern Americana sound. Love, DEAN is the musical creation of Rachael and Luke Price, blending Soul-Americana with indie spirit out of Portland, OR. With just two voices and one vintage hollow-body guitar, they craft a sound that's warm, raw, and instantly magnetic. Love, Dean website

T.C. Ryder & The Groovetones, featuring Troy Chapman, play classic American 70s groove music, particularly focusing on the songs of J.J. Cale and other artists. They are known for bringing a "heaping helping" of this style of music to Whidbey Island. This concert is a fundraiser for Island Roots Housing
